From humble beginnings, the show has grown into a “must see” attraction all over the UK, coming up with a new production from its multi-talented cast year after year.
Unashamedly nostalgic, TBTD takes its audience on a rollercoaster ride through the ‘golden’ age of Rock and Roll and Pop.
The show has been described as ‘Relentlessly Entertaining,’ mixing brilliant vocals and superb musicianship with impersonations and hilarious comedy routines.
Guaranteed a great night out, this is truly the best ‘feel good’ show on the road.
You won’t be disappointed!
When & Where
The Manfreds will be returning to the Wyllyotts Theatre for a much awaited performance.
They are considered one of the finest and most respected bands from the ‘60’s era and their numerous hits were not just ‘pop’ songs. Many were R&B based with an undercurrent of jazz - a very unusual but winning combination of playing style and substance.
As a result, their records have a timeless quality and, almost 60 years on, The Manfreds, with original front man, Paul Jones, will be performing many of their hits, including ‘Do Wah Diddy Diddy’, one of the most popular and instantly recognisable songs of the ‘60’s, and still the biggest audience pleaser at their concerts, along with a mix of Jazz and Blues covers and tracks from their individual solo albums.
Paul Jones, with his unique harmonica sound, will be joined by Tom McGuinness on guitar, Rob Townsend on drums, Mike Gorman on keyboards, Marcus Cliffe on bass, and Simon Currie on saxophone/ flute.
Neil Sands and his wonderful cast are back in a spectacular spirit lifting, heart warming, afternoon of festive nostalgia with the new 2022 production of their hit show.
Join them for a dazzling sleigh ride of Yuletide memories, filled with over 60 of your all-time favourite Christmas songs and Carols that will have you singing along from start to finish and bringing back so many wonderful memories of Christmases past.
Described as “Like A Sparkly Christmas Card Come To Life” with its shimmering stage set, stunning costumes, beautiful Christmas trees and even falling snow, this is the perfect pre-Christmas treat, warming your heart on the coldest winter’s day, taking us all back to a time when Christmas was “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”.

You’ve never seen me like this before. You’ve never been this close. I’m inviting you to spend an intimate evening with me – think of it as coming back to my place for a night of stories and songs. Pellow Talk is a chance to learn all about me, not just as a singer and songwriter with Wet Wet Wet, but as a boy and a man.
It’s a chance to understand the DNA of the hits that we’ve listened to and loved over the years. The evening will be wrapped in music, from songs you know to ones you’ll get to know. There’ll be laughter as we travel from the banks of the River Clyde to the top of the charts, then onto Broadway and beyond. There’ll be no mask and no character. This is me, Marti, stepping out of the shadows, speaking directly to you. The invitation is there. I hope you come and spend some time with me. Enough living has been done for a life to unfold. Enough years have passed for a story to be told.
